How long do I get the equipment for?

The small package, large package and bouncy castle prices are for a half day hire.

The collection package is for 24 hours.

How do I book?

Please contact us via email, phone or social media to arrange your booking. We will then send you a booking form to complete. We also have a hire agreement including our terms & conditions which you must sign before the hire date.

Bouncy Castle information

The bouncy castle is PIPA approved and subject to an annual inspection.

Please be aware that our castle cannot be used on hard surfaces outdoors due to the health & safety regulations. This includes artificial lawns/astroturf as the castle must be secured to the ground with 6 large stakes.

The bouncy castle must be placed within 25 metres of an accessible electric socket.

Please note the electric fan must remain switched on when the castle is in use. The fan is noisy; so please be aware of this for indoor hires.

Please ensure there is plenty of space for the bouncy castle. The castle needs 1.5m of space around the closed side and 3.5m at the front. 

Can I use outdoors?

All our equipment can be used indoors and outdoors. However we ask that it is kept dry and clean if used outdoors.

Please note the bouncy castle should not be used in wet weather or high winds. 

Please be aware that our bouncy castle cannot be used on hard surfaces outdoors due to the health & safety regulations.

Do you have insurance?

Yes. We have Public Liability of £5 million.
Please note, PLI covers you (the hirer) for damage, loss, or injuries incurred to you or your property / venue, which are caused by incorrectly assembled equipment or faulty equipment provided by the bouncy castle operator. It does not cover you (the hirer) for damage, loss or injuries incurred by misuse of the inflatable or if you change / move / rearrange any part of the equipment after the delivery and company set up.
A copy of our insurance certificate is available upon request.

How long does it take to set up and take down?

Setting up and dismantling takes about 30-45 minutes, sometimes quicker depending on the ease of access to the site. We will need to know the set up and party times when you book.

What preparation is needed before you arrive?

Please ensure there is enough space available for the equipment you hire. Sizes are stated for each package. If hiring the bouncy castle please ensure there is electrical power within 25 metres of the castle.

Which payment methods do you accept?

You can pay by Paypal, bank transfer or cash. We take a 25% returnable deposit at time of booking with the balance payable before hire. Please note the deposit is not returnable if the hire is cancelled within 14 days of event date.

What areas do we serve?

We are based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire and serve the local area. In general anywhere an hour or less drive from Leighton Buzzard. Please contact us for details if you are further away.

Can I rely on you?

Leighton Soft Play take all the stress away. We answer all emails and calls quickly. You will be emailed your booking confirmation and receive a courtesy call 24 hours before the hire. We are available throughout the hire if there are any issues as we only supply locally.

What is included in the price?

The collection package can be collected from our site in Leighton Buzzard and the price is for a 24 hour hire.

The small and large packages, plus bouncy castle are for a half day hire. The price includes delivery, set-up, put away and collection. We are also available during the hire in case of any unlikely issues. 

Free party invitations with envelopes are also included with every children's party booking.
